Inconsistency...waiting for the other shoe to drop...perching on the edge of our seats...describes pretty much how I am operating on the daily this year. Running a small business amid this chaos is akin to jumping in the deep end of the pool where a shark is circling. Add in homeschooling 3 kids who just want to experience normal which is like herding cats through a minefield of catnip and caged mice. Ok, ok, that may be exaggerating a little, but it also mildly covers the everyday activities of a Monday in our house.
And if you have noticed this little piece of the 'interweb' that holds my blog, that too has been inconsistent at best as those posts and writings get juggled from list to list and put off to the very bottom of what seems like a never ending log of things yet to be accomplished. Between all the conversations I have had with friends near and far, most all of you are feeling that crunch, that uncertainty, and the pressures that are somehow different and more numerous than ever before. How did we get to a slowdown that made us so unbelievably busy?
Like many of you, I have taken on so much extra while simultaneously letting go of so much excess. And we are still sitting on the edge of our seats, wondering what will be next, and making small and big changes that make sense for this new, and hopefully short-lived season of life. So you may be seeing a few changes here...so we need to know, what are you sitting on the edge of your seat for? What makes you click that 'read' button? What do you want to see in the future?
