Getting Personal about my Ink...

One of the questions I get asked most often is about this ink...and the short version of the story is still long...

One easy reason is that I’ve been blessed with three beautiful babes that keep me on my toes ALL the time. Sometimes they are louder than others and sometimes they sing the most beautiful songs...some only a mother could love, but I love them nonetheless. And these babes have helped shape who I am today; what I am willing to stand up for and what I am willing to let go of...the ability to reconnect with the joy of innocence and see the good in the smallest and darkest of places. 

The second reason is a little deeper, but I also feel that it needs to be put out there...for far too many people don't see the value in themselves and let anxiety and worry rob them of joy, gratitude, and life.  Birds quite simply don’t stress or store up or look to tomorrow...for the most part they just STAY...IN THE MOMENT.  They sing in the rain, huddle for warmth, and never think twice about spreading their wings. I’ve built my entire business on that...lift up your neighbor, help others first, and genuinely find joy in the success of others. We are better with each other and greater yet when we are not comparing ourselves to the person sitting next to us. And I will fiercely defend this, because the same hasn’t always been shown to me.

I hope you always believe you can fly my friends, that you are able to live in a place of gratitude rather than the mindset of scarcity, that fear is something you use to challenge you rather than trample you down.  For you are worth so much more than you let yourselves believe sometimes.
