We played some predictable games like Baby Bingo and Hush Baby, but my favorites were matching adult to baby animal names (I mean what actually is a PUGGLE anyway!?!?) and the encouragement cards we filled out. Each guest was instructed to write a note of encouragement to mom and dad and then seal it in an envelope that they can open up at any time they are needing a little boost. On the outside of those envelopes, we held them up to our foreheads and then drew a baby on it...needless to say, most had limbs that were unattached and heads floating in mid-air. Such a sweet and funny takeaway for the newbie mom and dad, especially on those nights where you get less than 2 hours of sleep! If any of you have an upcoming baby shower, give some of these printables a try... ![]()
